Swim Little Shrinky Dinks Fishy!

This is really a blast from my past! Growing up we had the original shrinky dinks that came in packages that had pr printed sheets that you could color and cut out then bake in the oven to make fun little decorations. This is an awesome project for both kids and adults!

I know for me the fun was always sitting in front of the oven peering through the window, watching the plastic shrink, curl and flip! I’m still mesmerized by the process! But now I’m able to do the shrinking up close and personal with a Heat Embossing gun.

This project really is Amazing! One quick fold of the shrunk and warm plastic and you have a beautiful 3-D Goldfish. With just a couple colored pencils you can make a really realistic looking goldfish that will be perfect to wear as a pendant necklace or even strung up with mono filament line (fishing line) and suspended floating over a desk or table. Swimming through the air!
