Time to Pour Paint and Make Flowers!

Doodle flowers on a painted background
You can do this!
BEAUTIFUL! Waterfall Pour with Negative Space and fineliner doodled Flowers. This is a 100% Free, Step by Step Art Lesson! Check this out! One Dirty Cup Poured over a small glass jar like a waterfall and a bit of doodling on the dry painting to make Flowers in a beautiful fingerpainted vase! The flowers were hiding in this poured painting! They could be Lilacs or Hydrangeas you decide. It is so fun and really easy too. Repeating a simple shape over and over creates a beautiful bouquet! I’m using Decoart Pouring Medium that dries to a soft satin finish when mixed with the Decoart Americana Acrylic Paints. There Are Pearls and Metallics along with regular acrylic colors! See Below for all the materials! I love how these paintings take on a life of their own and lead me down paths I would never have thought to explore.

I’m also concerned with the possible issues down the line with the paint not forming a good bond with the surface because of the oils preventing proper adhesion. We all have to weigh the pros and cons of how we interact with our art supplies. Experimenting can be exciting and beautiful, but there can be consequences we don’t know about yet. As with any thing in life be informed by reputable sources and your own common sense. 🙂 The most important things you need to be successful with any of my creative projects are the willingness to learn and to be easy on yourself as you are learning. We tend to be our worst critics and we need to learn to be kind to ourselves. I love the community that we are building here.
