acrylic painting of lion face and mane

Majestic Lion – Hybrid painting Fluid Acrylic and brush!

Come along on my painting safari! This time I try out creating a Lion and his flowing mane using a combination of traditional painting with a brush and fluid acrylic painting with a piece of kitchen cotton string. It is all done using Craft Acrylic Paints and a lot of patience.

(When things get really repetitive I do put the video into speed video mode. The Painting took me about 2.5 hours from start to finish)

When folks say you can do a real painting with Craft Paints it is just going to take more layers believe them! It will take many layers but the effect is worth it!

The Traceable picture of the lion is available on my
